I’m a commercially minded, purpose-driven leader with 20+ years across startups, scale-ups, corporates, and the public sector. My focus is turning complex challenges into clear strategy, aligning teams, and driving growth.As CEO of SODA Inc. for six years, I worked with hundreds of founders to sharpen strategy, raise capital, and achieve product–market fit. My career spans New Zealand’s innovation and commercialisation system, with leadership roles at Callaghan Innovation, Adherium, Genesis Research, and Biometry Health, alongside global experience at GSK and AstraZeneca.I bring deep governance and commercialisation experience through roles including Chair of the NZ HiTech Trust, Chair of Cetogenix, and Director positions with Women in Technology (Queensland) and NZTech. I currently serve on the Waikato University Council, am an Independent Member of both the Ārohia Trailblazer investment panel and the KiwiNet Investment Committee, and sit on Hato Hone St John’s Assets & Infrastructure subcommittee. I was one of the founding members of The Cultivate Trust and its flagship platform Tech in the Tron, strengthening the profile of Waikato’s innovation and technology ecosystem.I hold an MSc in Biochemistry, postgraduate business studies from the University of Auckland and MIT Boston, and am a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors. Known for bringing strategic clarity and execution focus, I’m committed to strengthening New Zealand’s innovation economy and helping bold ideas deliver real-world impact.
