ABOUT ERIN WAHLER-CLEVELAND

As the founder of Roots and Wings Math, I help K-12 educators transform their math instruction through ongoing adult learning, strengthening content knowledge, and a deep commitment to student thinking and voice.After teaching more than 1,200 students and spending 20 years in education, I now work with schools and teachers to create classrooms where mathematics is rigorous, meaningful, and happens in classrooms where students\' sense of belonging is prioritized. My offerings include Developing Mathematical Ideas (DMI) Seminars, co-teaching and coaching labs, and customized PD partnerships aligned to each school’s unique goals.I believe improving math instruction is a long game—and that real, sustainable change happens when we invest in teachers as learners and leaders.I hold an MA in Teaching Mathematics from Mount Holyoke College, I\'m a presenter at national conferences including NCSM, Building Thinking Classrooms and MidSchool Math, and I\'m an active member of NCSM, NCTM, Colorado Math Leaders, and CCTM.Let’s build math classrooms where every student sees themselves as capable and every teacher feels equipped to lead their students to enduring learning.
