Implemented lean manufacturing principals in cell manufacturing design to reduce non value added work. This project combined with six sigma defect reduction projects within our team provided an increase in production yield, saving annually in the pilot phase\\\\n\\\\n- Utilized DMAIC process in defect reduction for Operator error, chips, and scratches saving in cost avoidance and directly increasing production yield by 3% by the control phase of the project\\\\n\\\\n- Restructured labeling requirements in the QMS to accommodate for changing registration requirements in a global market. Performed UAT and Validations for 10 country specific labels.\\\\n\\\\n- Lead a cross functional team as subject matter expert for the lens cleaning and inspection process. Standardized training between manufacturing, quality complaint handling and customer support/marketing personnel and introduced new materials to improve the cleaning process.\\\\n\\\\n- Designed experiments during six sigma green belt training to evaluate new manufacturing materials and define process parameters to yield the best lens quality. Evaluated DOEs using Minitab and trained under a six sigma master black belt.\\\\n\\\\n- Reduced a bottle neck operation in the order assembly and packaging area to save per year. This was completed by optimizing production software requirements for single orders to bypass non value added operations meant for two lens orders. Additionally, stock unfinished goods were optimized based on order trends through iterative data analysis in SQL, excel and Microsoft power BI.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
