Erin Urquhart is an applied environmental scientist who serves as the Program Manager of the NASA Earth Action Water Resources program at NASA HQ. She supports innovative and practical uses of satellite Earth observation data for water resources management for the benefit of society. Over the course of her career, Erin’s research has focused on utilizing satellite data to monitor and model water quality in coastal, estuarine, and inland waters. Her work has addressed water management topics including recreational water safety, access to clean drinking water, safe and sustainable aquaculture, and protection of public health.
