ABOUT ERIN TARAVELLA
I recently graduated from the Bush School of Government & Public Service with a Master of Public Administration, with concentrations in public policy analysis and state and local government. I also hold a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Texas A&M University, where I developed a strong interest in how policy can drive impactful and sustainable change. I currently serve as a Policy Analyst in the Texas House of Representatives, where I’ve developed skills in legislative research, policy development, and stakeholder engagement. My background also includes experience in community development, nonprofit and public program management, and evaluation. Through work in municipal government, grassroots organizations, and public service initiatives, I’ve learned how to connect policy analysis with on-the-ground implementation to ensure that policies are both responsive to community needs and positioned for long-term success.
