As a 3L Technology Law & Policy Scholar at Georgetown University Law Center, Erin is building upon her professional experience and academic interests to establish a niche in the rapidly evolving intersection of law and technology. After spending Summer 2023 as a Google Public Policy Fellow at CCIA, working on pertinent Internet law and policy issues across privacy, data security, content moderation, telecommunications, copyright, patents and trade, Erin will be returning in Fall 2023 to focus on competition/antitrust. Before law school, Erin was a corporate communications professional supporting clients through M&A (global and domestic), IPOs, shareholder activism, investor relations, crisis management, litigation and public affairs. She became highly adaptable and developed robust transactional knowledge by balancing myriad stakeholder interests and advising clients on fast-paced, complex matters alongside senior management. Erin\'s past client service spans traditional and emerging sectors within technology, financial/professional services, private funds, venture capital, media/entertainment, telecommunications, nonprofits, higher education, real estate and retail. Her in-house experience at a fintech start-up also inspired her passion for working with emerging companies. Throughout her career, Erin has remained dedicated to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and positive social impact, which she channeled through her ESG regulation and corporate governance work and voluntary committee efforts.
