UNFPA Pacific Program Providing specialized midwifery technical assistance to UNFPA Pacific Sub-Regional Office. Responsibilities include monitoring and evaluating midwifery programs in Fiji, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Samoa, Tonga, and Kiribati. Supporting curriculum design, development, and implementation, including conducting in-country missions and workshops. Coordinating the development of a Regional Midwifery Strategy through policy reviews and regional consultations.SMILE in the Pacific- Co-Director Leading the Pacific Simulation for Midwifery Innovation Learning and Education (SMILE) Project. Collaborating with Pacific Midwives to establish state-of-the-art simulation labs. Responsible for project planning, stakeholder consultations, and the implementation of simulation-based training programs in the Pacific Island\'s Midwifery Schools. Coordinating the development and delivery of a conference, and providing ongoing support and mentorship to midwifery educators. The project focuses on building capacity, confidence, and competence in midwifery students, ultimately improving maternal and newborn healthcare outcomes in the Pacific region.
