Works to improve the experiences of Ohio\'s long-term care consumers. Serves as the point person for the Ohio Nursing Home Quality Initiative, including as the Project Director of CMP-funded quality improvement projects such as Person-Centered Staff Engagement, Person-Directed Dementia Care and Music & Memory. Manages annual LTC facility consumer satisfaction surveys that help guide facility quality improvement efforts and help consumers and their loved ones select their long-term care providers. Coordinates the Ohio interagency resident transition team in the event of a long-term care provider closure. Provides training and technical assistance to regional long-term care ombudsmen and assists in quality improvement and monitoring programs. Current Chair of the Consumer Voice Leadership Council.
