About Erin Mohebbi
Seasoned project manager and international health and development generalist with twenty years’ experience providing management oversight and programmatic and technical leadership to complex USAID-funded contracts and cooperative agreements in the range of $1.5 million to $30 million. As Project Director in Abt Global’s USG International (USGI) Delivery Group, Ms. Mohebbi leads a portfolio of health, governance, economic growth and climate resilience projects across the globe, with project teams averaging 20 to 30 and comprised of local country national (LCN) staff. She is responsible for the execution of high-visibility lines of work including client management; stakeholder and external-facing marketing and communications; quality delivery of technical activities and outputs; budget and financial management; compliance and risk management; contract, sub-contract oversight; and personnel performance. With her in-country senior management teams, she mitigates risk, identifies and executes solutions to operational and technical challenges impacting programmatic implementation, ensuring technical oversight and quality assurance for all contractual deliverables. She provides mentoring and coaching to Chiefs of Party and other Key Personnel and senior field-based leaders. Ms. Mohebbi holds a Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) with a concentration in international development from Georgetown University (2005). She has advanced proficiency in French with direct experience working on the ground in Francophone countries (most recently, Benin, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Madagascar and Senegal).
