WORK HISTORY
Environmental Data Scientist @Global Water Security Center
At GWSC, I analyze large datasets to provide actionable insights related to complex and timely questions posed by federal policy makers regarding climate, water, and environmental security challenges. To date, I have led data analysis as part of an interdisciplinary team for about 30 environmental security briefings, notable ones covering The Indus Waters Treaty, low water levels at the Panama Canal, and hydropower potential in GabonAs part of the first cohort of Data Scientists at GWSC, I built the data science program, establishing workflows, developing and conducting analyses, establishing documentation protocols, and designing visualizations for large datasets, including time series and geospatial data. My work also includes the translation of our analyses for diverse audiences both internally to GWSC and externally to our stakeholders and the broader public, through presentations, blog posts and stakeholder meetings.
