I am responsible for - Researching, developing, designing, validating, and implementing innovative NGS-based laboratory assays. This involves utilizing advanced computational resources, reproducible programming techniques, and stringent QA methods- Maintaining and performing bioinformatic analysis of NGS data using the software and workflows that I have developed- Troubleshooting NGS assays and analysis pipelines as needed to ensure that we are using the best data to generate actionable results- Evaluating, interpreting, and validating laboratory results and providing clear and accurate findings- Having a keen awareness of state and federal laws, rules, regulations, and policies relevant to our program area, such as CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act).
