The American Friends of Attingham is a 501(c)(3) educational non-profit that assists The Attingham Trust, a British charitable organization, by recruiting applicants residing in the United States and supporting their residential and virtual studies of British collections, architecture, landscapes and the social history of country houses and royal palaces. The American Friends of Attingham welcomes direct gifts from alumni and supporters to encourage the preservation and interpretation of our shared cultural heritage and cutting-edge research by the next generation of historians.

ABOUT ERIN KUYKENDALL
Erin Kuykendall is a curator, educator, and historian skilled at creating lively narratives that resonate with diverse museum audiences. Her research and interpretation foregrounds the materiality of collections by using objects, their makers, and users as tangible links to both past and present. Erin\'s passion for the intersection of culture, art, architecture, and politics, draws from her MA at the Winterthur Program in American Material Culture, the Attingham Summer School, and her BA from The College of William and Mary. Her archaeological fieldwork and historic preservation experience in the upper south is the foundation for her continued expertise in Atlantic world history.
