About Erin Henkel

Erin is committed to ending the mental health crisis as a leader at Noto and NOCD. Noto is an AI-enabled platform powering the operating infrastructure needed to scale specialty therapy for complex psychiatric and behavioral conditions (CPBCs) into the future. Noto functions as the parent brand for its specialties.NOCD was Noto’s first virtual specialty. To scale NOCD, we built operating systems connected and powered by technology to support partnering with payers, enrolling hidden members, and delivering virtual specialty therapy. These capabilities now form the foundation of the Noto company. NOCD\'s vision of a world where anyone can access effective OCD therapy, no matter where they live or how much money they make. As a Design leader, Erin has guided the design of health ventures with global medical device companies, led patient experience differentiation efforts with healthcare systems and providers, driven new opportunity discovery with pharmaceutical companies, and run user-centered digital innovation projects with government and non-profit organizations. Erin\'s work is guided by a deep belief in the power of design thinking and empathic immersion to revolutionize products and services. A consummate traveler, Erin has taught design-innovation classes at the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia, The NYU Wagner School of Public Service, and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She has spoken at various conferences, including the American Diabetes Association Corporate Advisory Council, Yale School of Management Education Leadership Conference and the American Cancer Society CEOs National Meeting. Erin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design from the California College of the Arts.Erin also has a tremendous passion for good food and was a delegate to Terra Madre 2010, Slow Food International’s annual gathering of food producers and activists from around the world, representing her venture in artisanal butter.
