Develop and implement the BID’s Safe, Secure, and Prepared Program supporting incident response, safety initiatives, and internal and external preparedness efforts for the Golden Triangle neighborhood which serves as the city’s central business district• Develop and deliver training and tabletop exercises on all-hazards preparedness and emergency response topics for a variety of external audiences • Implement the BID’s emergency response plan supporting the organization’s response to localized and neighborhood-wide disruptions and incidents• Liaison with District of Columbia Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency, Fire & EMS, Metropolitan Police Department, Department of Behavioral Health, and other public safety, regulatory and utilities to share information, engage in creative problem solving and coordinate during active response• Provide strategic and tactical direction for the daily field operations of the BID’s Safety Specialist program, including directing data-driven deployments and taskings, organizing trainings, and developing operational protocols• Utilize emergency communication systems and maintain CRM systems used to notify key stakeholders of incidents and threats affecting the district• Provide direction and support to the Operations Center during an emergency• Supervisory responsibility for the BID’s Safety and Security Manager
