We\'re moving to Durham, NC in May 2025 to start a non-profit called BLK South focused on furthering the Black story in the South. We will do this through three community development projects we like to call \"gifts\" we\'re bringing to the city:1. Spiritual Formation2. Martial Arts3. Creative JusticeThe name BLK South, in and of itself, declares that the South is sacred—a sanctuary. Our desire is to help reclaim the narrative so that what was once a place to be feared transforms into a refuge and haven for Black Americans to nurture their cultural identity, purpose, and mission in the world.We are dedicating 2024 to raising a $500K budget to cover the first three years of BLK South\'s work.
