Oversee the Billing and Revenue Cycle Department and their functions for a growing Prosthetics and Orthotics company that has over 22+ practice locations in 3 states. Reports to the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Committee. Planning and re-structuring the department and workflow to include process improvement, better cash management/ reconciliation, decreased denials and increased revenues while maintaining the company mission. Supervising in all Revenue Cycle areas to include account management, provider relations, resolving payor issues, charge master, collections, cash posting, denials, payment plans, hardships, System upgrades and integration to reduce FTE’s and improve Cash Flow. Successful hiring and training of all Revenue Cycle/Billing/Analytics and Credentialing staff including mid-level managers and provide regular feedback of performance, areas of opportunity, goals, staff development and general coaching. Works with Senior Leadership/Executive Committee to make sure the department is meeting and exceeding high standards and department goals. Implemented Audits and Productivity standards for a fully remote staff. Instrumental in several acquisitions, new offices and the rollout of a new EMR/PM system.
