I lead Shuck Cancer Houston, a signature fundraising event for the American Cancer Society, while managing a broader portfolio of mission-driven initiatives. I focus on building and stewarding relationships with volunteers, corporate partners, and community leaders to advance ACS’s mission of ending cancer as we know it, for everyone.I recruit, train, and empower volunteer leaders, oversee event execution, and create meaningful engagement opportunities for sponsors, participants, survivors, and caregivers. I also collaborate across departments to align fundraising efforts with advocacy and mission priorities, implement best practices for donor stewardship and event management, and foster innovation to identify new opportunities for impact.This role allows me to combine strategic relationship-building with hands-on event leadership to deliver experiences that inspire communities and fuel lifesaving work.
