ABOUT ERIN CZUPRYNSKI

My professional work experience and personal endeavors all have a common denominator. The common denominator is a process that involves a goal in sight and a series of questions I ask and answer to ensure I can achieve that goal as efficiently as possible while minimizing any bumps in the road along the way. As a Criminology Data Analyst, I reviewed multiple structured and unstructured data sources to isolate high interest electronically monitored individuals, allowing for an overall reduction in alarm volume. I was able to reduce the projected time for post incident report analysis by implementing a more scalable template which communicated complex data in an easy-to-understand manner. By defining business metrics and key performance indicators, I was able to develop timely insights into trends and behaviors to make proper recommendations to Law Enforcement Personnel. While working as an Amazon Warehouse Operative, I maintained consistent sorting/packing speeds in the 95th percentile improving daily efficiency. When I stepped in as a backup Process Assistant, I staffed the sortation department appropriately with 7 to 9 associates in each process path maximizing productivity and minimizing labor hours. When I was a professional dog walker, I allocated services during high demand hours resulting in a 20% increase of profits and reduced commute times to decrease costs by 15% annually. As a police officer, I responded quickly to dispatch and took appropriate action at crime and disaster scenes resulting in improved community safety, reduced crime and repeat distress calls. With a wide array of job experience comes really invaluable experience with a variety of people from all walks of life. I believe my prior work experience has allowed me the opportunity to gain valuable problem solving skills which will aid an incredibly fulfilling career as a data scientist.
