Deliver immediate post-anesthesia and high-acuity nursing care for both inpatient and outpatient surgical patients, including orthopedic, bariatric, vascular, gastrointestinal, urologic, plastic, spinal, and gender-affirming procedures (e.g, total joint replacement, spinal fusion, AV fistula creation, angioplasty, laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy, and facial feminization surgery)- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and hemodynamic parameters; manage airways, arterial lines, IV infusions, and vasoactive medications; perform neurological checks, blood-glucose monitoring, and continuous bladder irrigation; and document in Allscripts- Administer IV medications, titrate sedatives and analgesics, and respond to rapid changes in patient condition by collaborating with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and the interdisciplinary team- Serve as Charge RN as needed, overseeing unit workflow, staff assignments, and coordination of post-operative admissions and transfers, ensuring safe, efficient patient throughput and adherence to patient-safety
