ABOUT ERIN BUXTON

Graduate from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor\'s Degree of Science, majoring in Dietetics. Graduated from Cleveland State University\'s accelerated nursing program summa cum laude with a Bachelor\'s of Science in Nursing. Masters of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration completed in 2014 from Malone University. Certified in Botox and Juvederm injections in 2014. Specialties: Experience working on a Cardiothoracic Step-down unit at University Hospitals in Cleveland. Spent 3 years at Akron General Medical Center on their Neuroscience Institute Floor specializing in neurological disorders and post operative brain and spinal surgeries. Spent two years in a busy Family Practice seeing patients from the pediatric population through geriatrics, practicing independently with collaborating physicians as needed. During that time I also rounded in a long term and acute care facility seeing patients weekly for healthcare management. I then spent 5 years working for Cleveland Clinic Akron General as a Nurse Practitioner in their PreSurgery Department performing patient optimization physicals for surgery.
