PurposeEnergy’s mission is to capture the millions of tons of wasted organic material flowing from industrial food production plants, converting them into valuable renewable energy, clean water, and healthy soil amendments.As CDO, I am responsible for strategic customer development and commercial transactions for food waste streams from manufacturing, grocery retail, and other organic waste generating facilities. I also lead project development and construction phases including securing all entitlements, real estate, and site permits, originating our energy offtake strategy, building strategic supplier and contractor relationships, and managing project development risk. The Commercial Development group works closely with our CEO, CFO, and our investor to financially model our projects in accordance with our defined risk tolerance, and growth strategy.
