ABOUT ERIK VALIQUETTE
Erik is a CITT certified logistics professional with over 30 years of experience in global supply chain management. He is the co-founder and partner of Besner Lachaine Valiquette, a leading executive recruitment firm for the supply chain and logistics industries. He is also the Chief Executive Officer of the Blockchain Supply Chain Association, a member-driven organization that aims to accelerate the adoption of distributed ledger technology in the supply chain sector through advocacy, collaboration, and education. As the CEO of the Blockchain Supply Chain Association, Erik leads the strategic vision and direction of the association, fostering partnerships with governmental agencies, industry associations, and academic institutions. He also chairs the Standards Council of Canada\'s Technical Committee on Blockchain and Electronic Ledger Technologies, and serves as an advisor and vice chair for various blockchain initiatives and projects. He is passionate about bridging the gap between technology and business needs, and believes that blockchain has the potential to transform the global supply chain management by reducing waste, increasing transparency, and enhancing security.
