As Sr. Aviation Meteorologist, I combine knowledge in the meteorological and technical arenas with strong communication skills to provide detailed aviation-specific forecasts to a wide array of users, as well as serve as the primary end-user technical lead in our meteorology department. I have been called on regularly by upper management to provide weather briefings for a variety of high-impact events, including severe weather outbreaks, winter storms, volcanic ash, tropical cyclones, specific aviation point forecasts and en-route weather hazards. From a technical perspective, I serve as the primary \"end-user\" software tester and liaison to IT for the department\'s multi-million dollar, corporate-wide weather information integration and display system, as well as evaluate the validity and potential use of various third party software - or web-based solutions pertaining to the impacts of weather on the aviation sector.
