Lead front end development for the company\'s four web based software platforms that book and manage transportation reservations across North America, working with a 19 member engineering team using TypeScript, HTML, SCSS, and Vue • Work with the VP of Product and Product Managers to design user-centered interfaces and experiences for new and existing features, with a focus on improving the user experience and driving product adoption • Collaborate with the CTO and Lead Architect to build and enhance the company\'s API and integrate third party APIs using Java, Hibernate, Spring, and SQL to support the data needs of the web applications • Lead and manage the architecture, implementation, launch, and ongoing development of a brand new web app • Set and enforce coding standards and style guidelines for front end development across all repositories, including by writing custom linters • Ensure proper documentation and unit tests are in place for all front end applications • Lead the front end portion of candidate interviews and mentor junior developers and new hires
