Ethiopia as an engineer, helping expand a hospital in Addis Ababa. It was incredible to witness God\'s work every day among people who had almost nothing, yet radiated peace and joy despite their complete poverty. The people\'s happiness and warmth left a lasting impression on me, and I would have returned to Ethiopia in a heartbeat. However, God led me to Winnipeg to be an extension of Jesus\' hands, feet, and heart to His people.In the past five weeks in Winnipeg, I have seen a profound hunger for God\'s touch across socially and ethnically diverse groups. God revealed to me that all these people need is someone to intentionally offer them the opportunity to see what Jesus can do, and then step back and let Jesus rewrite their stories. God wants to work powerfully in Winnipeg, changing lives and rewriting stories. When Jesus transforms lives, people naturally want to share their experiences, leading to a harvest so abundant that the churches of Winnipeg won\'t be able to contain it. Amen.I also have a passion for Africa. What makes Winnipeg unique as a mission field is that people don\'t typically expect a missionary to be sent to Canada to work with the African population. Yet, that is exactly what God has done with me. The most exciting part of this mission is meeting African refugees, mostly Muslims, who don\'t understand why someone from a wealthy country would spend time with them. When they asked me why I was here, I told them that God sent me to be an extension of Jesus\' hands, feet, and heart to His people. I told them that they are His people, and that\'s why I\'m here - and we kept sharing stories.
