About Erik Karl Lustgarten
I enjoy the constant learning process that is necessary to understand how clients conduct their science. Every project is an opportunity to build that knowledge and develop solutions to operational and cultural challenges. The teams that I have led and contributed to have designed award winning facilities for clients at Tufts University, Boston University, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston Children’s Hospital, King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre, and Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research. Of these projects, my favorites have tested the preconceptions of what an architect does. The most rewarding outcomes have accomplished at the end what no one else realized we could do at the beginning.
