In my role as SVP, Clinical Development at Tyra, I spearhead the clinical development of all oncology assets, including dabogratinib (TYRA300) for patients with intermediate risk non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (IR NMIBC) and low grade upper tract urothelial cancer (UTUC).Previously, as Principal Medical Lead, Urologic Cancers, at Genentech, I was- single point of contact for early development of pipeline molecules for the GU and GI cancers franchise- point of contact for GU cancer business development opportunities- subject matter expert for GU cancers across all GU franchise working groups and trials- responsible for internal newsflow and resourcing across the GU/GI franchise.Previously, beginning in 2020 and for 2 years, I was Global Clinical Product Lead Imfinzi (GU/Tumor Agnostic) and then promoted to Global Clinical Head, Imfinzi (GU/Women\'s Cancers/Tumor Agnostic/Clinical Safety/Life Cycle) at AstraZeneca. Prior to my role at AZ, I had spent close to 30 years as an academic urologic oncologist in NYC; I was a Urology Professor at Mount Sinai and before that at Columbia. In these roles, I cared for thousands of patients with urologic cancers, medically and surgically, conducted clinical trials, published over 100 peer-reviewed papers, and mentored and taught urology residents and medical students.I received an MBA at NYU\'s Stern School of Business, with specializations in corporate finance, financial instruments, and management in 2015 and was named valedictorian of my MBA class. I am a board certified urologist and fellowship trained urologic oncologist. I am a Magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Columbia College of Columbia University and an Alpha Omega Alpha graduate of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. I did a year of general surgical residency at Johns Hopkins followed by surgery and urology residency training at Columbia. My urologic oncology fellowship at Columbia was sponsored by a Valentine Fellowship from the New York Academy of Medicine and a Young Investigator Award from the American Society of Clinical Oncology.I have won many awards, including the Young Investigator Award from the National Kidney Foundation, First Prize Laboratory Investigation, and Honorable Mention, Valentine Essay Contest New York Academy of Medicine, and a Pfizer Scholar in Urology Award (twice). I have been named Teacher of the Year by 3 different residency programs (Columbia 2003, Beth Israel 2012, Mount Sinai 2020) and have performed over major urologic oncologic surgeries.
