Scrum Alliance is a US-based 501(c)6 nonprofit trade association that provides education, resources, and support to agile practitioners around the globe. We offer advocacy, community engagement, research, networking, and a focus on organizational change. We guide and inspire individuals, leaders, and organizations with practices, principles, and values that create workplaces that are joyful, prosperous, and sustainable. We serve more than a million certificants worldwide.As Director & Head of Education Programs, I serve the community of aspiring and active elite Certified Scrum Trainers (CSTs) and Certified Scrum Alliance Trainers (CSATs) across 90+ countries to support their professional development journeys and strengthen their teaching and learning skills and approaches, including multicultural facilitation techniques. I lead the Trainer Approval Community (TAC) and work to champion intentional learning paths, grow and maintain educational quality and integrity, act as a steward to uphold a rigorous and credible quality bar, and expand focus to underserved global markets-specifically Latin America. As an engaged member of diverse subject matter expert community teams, I work across disciplines and geography to fortify and expand the global reach of gold-standard agile certifications and create unique and impactful international education programs & products.
