We’ve since offered fine art portraiture and location-based sessions to families across four states. ABOUT ERIKA HATFIELD
I’m a Certified Professional Photographer and photography teacher with over 17 years of experience—and I still get excited every time I pick up my camera. I run two businesses: Hatfield Photography, where I create fine art portraits and landscapes printed on bamboo, and Next Level Photo Education, where I’ve taught over students in 23+ countries (ages 3 to adult) how to tell their own stories through photography.My background in elementary and special education helps me design classes that meet learners exactly where they are. Whether I’m working with a teen applying to art school, a parent looking to document their family’s adventures, or a young child learning to frame their first shot, my goal is to make photography fun, empowering, and accessible.I’m based in Charleston, SC, but teach worldwide through live and self-paced online classes.
