About Erika Gillette

I AM AN ICF-CERTIFIED COACH with accredited, specialized training in partnership, time management, and ADHD coaching. I have been coaching adults and students through major transitions and personal change since 2004, and in 2016, after nearly a decade of university teaching and administration, I left campus to start my own private coaching practice. More than coaching hours later, I offer a toolbox full of ways to thrive and balance the expectations of others against the need for flexibility, passion, and joy in your life.TODAY MY PRACTICE FOCUSES on high-performers, especially professional women in leadership positions. About half of my clients are neurodivergent, and many work in organizations where developing skills for managing diversity in others is essential, such as higher education. Regardless of whether you are neurodivergent or not, challenges such as planning, time- management, emotional regulation, self-awareness, and overwhelm affect all of us at times. My specialty training in executive function and time management skills works for everyone to make progress more joyful and help you thrive.SOME HIGHLIGHTS of my adventures so far: hours in private practice as a personal leadership coach, specializing in gifted & high-performance neurodiversity; women in leadership; career coaching and design; and higher education contexts. 300+ hours of coach competency training, including specialized training in neurodivergence, and collaborative partnership communication. 18 years designing and leading workforce and professional success programs. 5 years supporting leadership and change management courses, including providing research and editing support for scholarship on change effort design. 8 years Adjunct Faculty and Lead Program Designer for nationally-recognized peer coaching and mentoring programs, and author of peer-reviewed research on peer coaching program design. 20+ year career focused across multiple disciplines on facilitating leadership and success skill development for individuals and teams, as an educator, program leader, executive and board member, business owner, and credentialed coach and mentor. MFA, Sierra Nevada College, 2017; MA, University of Texas, Austin, 2008; BA, Tulane University, finally.AS A LIFELONG ADVENTURER, anytime I can spare an afternoon you will find me wrenching on a vintage 1947 Stinson 108, wishing we were flying it. Please join me in my love of flying and of learning by finding the @sweetrickeyflying channel on YouTube.

    Adventura Coaching For Change

    Jan 2016 — Present

When you are ready to execute on goals that inspire you, it\'s time to get a supercoach on your team. I coach entrepreneurs, executives, writers, and experience-seekers to achieve great change in their personal and professional lives. I founded Rockstar in 2016 to change the way American families approach change, career, and education decisions and inspire them to dream big about their futures. With a Rockstar coach, you decide what you want first, choose the path that will get you there, and then take action with the end in mind. As a result, you won\'t just “get in,\"\"get funded,\" or \"get hired.\" You\'ll get to live an extraordinary life you love.In 2020, I expanded the Rockstar practice to include a new specialty and ICF-accredited training in ADHD coaching, time management, and executive function skills coaching. The struggles with planning, time-management, emotional regulation, self-awareness, overwhelm and other challenges that are typical for ADD’ers are pressures that affect all of us at times, and this specialized training offers tools to make progress more joyful.Whether or not you think you or someone close to you may have ADHD traits, these powerful strategies for success will help you thrive while balancing the expectations of others against the need for flexibility, joy, and passion in your work. Please visit or on Facebook at to learn more.
