About Erika Sweeting
I believe people can change — and I help them learn how.At every stage of my career — from classrooms to corporate training rooms — I’ve been drawn to the same work: helping people grow into better leaders, teammates, and humans. For more than two decades, my work has lived at the intersection of clarity, connection, and meaningful growth. Whether I’m leading learning and development across a 700+ employee organization, teaching undergraduate courses, facilitating corporate workshops, or designing learning experiences from the ground up, my goal is always the same: help people grow in ways that genuinely matter.Everything I create is designed to help people see more clearly, connect more deeply, and grow more intentionally. I translate complex human concepts into practical tools people can use in real conversations, real workplaces, and real life. I’m known for being warm, grounded, and engaging — blending research, reflection, and application so learning doesn’t just inform, but actually transforms. My experience spans corporate training and facilitation, leadership development, instructional design, higher education, curriculum creation, coaching, keynote speaking, and building a successful learning platform from the ground up. I’ve trained frontline teams and executive leaders, facilitated workshops for Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 organizations, spoken to audiences of 1,200+, and designed undergraduate courses that help students think deeply about what it means to be human — relationships, identity, belonging, empathy, and growth.Today, I serve as a Training & Development Coordinator, teach Human Development and Multicultural Children’s Literature at Moody Bible Institute, collaborate with RDR Group on corporate training initiatives, and continue laying the groundwork for Resonare Collective — an umbrella for future workshops, speaking, and reflective learning experiences.I enjoy connecting with others who care about thoughtful leadership, meaningful learning, and helping people grow — and I’m always open to conversations that spark insight, collaboration, or shared learning.
