A Safety Leader with over 14 years of experience in the Oil & Gas and Heavy Steel Manufacturing industries. A goal driven individual with a strong work ethic and passion for Safety. Proficient in English and Spanish.Occupational Health & Safety Compliance Auditor (MHSA & Enform) Manufacturing - Implemented COR Status, with a progressive increase of COR Audit Scores from 80%(2012) to 92%(2015). Drilling - Conducted and maintained all internal COR audits and related processes, achieving an External COR Score increase from 81%(2015) to 98%(2018). Occupational Health & Safety Program Development Manufacturing - Worked with welding, mechanical, electrical foremen and front line employees to build and implement a robust Hazard Assessment and Analysis (HAA) and Safe Work Practice (SWP) system. This action helped the company layout the safety practices and standards foundation for the manufacturing division (20••••11). Drilling - Developed a variety of rig-specific safety programs such as emergency response, job safety analysis and other libraries for drilling rigs. These initiatives helped improve compliance and increase costumer confidence and satisfaction. Injury Frequency and Severity Reduction Collaborated with the Senior Management, Operation’s and Safety Teams, to design and implement preventive safety programs and culture strengthening that led to achieving important milestones such- Manufacturing Division - 60% WCB Cost Claim reduction and an overall (2013) reduction of cost related to incidents- Drilling Division - 40% WCB Claim Cost Reduction for 4 provinces.
