Safety Management Group was formed in 1990 as a safety services provider for an Indianapolis, Indiana based insurance broker and began development of a comprehensive Contractor Safety Management Process (CSMP) for a global pharmaceutical company. This process was utilized to manage contractor safety for five Indiana plant sites in support of our client’s Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) of which we still support today.Nearly twenty five years later, Safety Management Group has grown to be one of the largest privately held professional safety service companies in the United States. Our services have evolved from that first CSMP to now address most aspects of safety for all sizes of customers in multiple industries.
