ABOUT ERIKA KELLY RAMIREZ

Driven by a relentless work ethic and meticulous attention to detail, I am a first-generation college student and aspiring Big Law attorney on a fast track to graduate a year early from the University of Miami in May 2028.My path to the legal field has been defined by advocacy and leadership. From volunteering at Joe DiMaggio Children\'s Hospital to managing complex projects, I learned early on that success requires absolute focus and a refusal to do anything halfway.Every choice I make at the University of Miami is intentional. In my research for the Collegiate Law Journal, I analyzed the ethical implications of artificial intelligence in legal practice. I am an active brother of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, serve as an Outreach Delegate with the Committee on Student Organizations (COSO), helping students build registered communities, and serve as Backroom Crisis Staff for MICSUN, developing complex conference strategies behind the scenes.This summer, I am returning to the University of Miami Summer Scholars Program as a paid Teaching Assistant in business and business law. This is a full-circle moment after first attending the program myself in the summer of 2024 as a high school student, where I studied neuroscience and public health.I am a Dean\'s List student, a Canes Achievement Scholarship recipient, and an Alpha Lambda Delta honor society member. I don\'t get burnt out by heavy workloads; I get driven by them. I am actively building a foundation to practice Big Law in Miami and look forward to connecting with professionals in the field.
