ABOUT ERIKA CORDOVI

I am an associate attorney for Kubicki Draper in the Miami office, where my focus is on First Party Property Defense, Third Party Automobile Defense, Personal Injury Protection Defense, including examinations under oath, and the investigation of fraudulent insurance claims. Originally from South Florida, I am a first-generation American. I attended Nova Southeastern University for my undergraduate work and received my Bachelor’s in Legal Studies. I obtained my law degree from St. Thomas University School of Law, where I graduated with distinction, cum lade. During my time in law school, I was President of the International Moot Court, where I had the opportunity to participate in the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition, the largest moot court competition in the world.Prior to joining Kubicki Draper, I handled first party property claims for a regional firm. Before becoming an attorney, I worked for the City of Hialeah Parks and Recreation Department as an Aquatics Manager where I managed and developed programming for my hometown. As the Aquatics Manager, I advocated for water safety and access to swim lessons for populations at high risk of drowning and assisted the city in authoring grant proposals for funding from the American Red Cross, Autism Speaks, and USA Triathlon.I also found time to volunteer for Relevo Por La Vida Hialeah and Hialeah Gardens, the only Spanish Relay for Life Event, where she served as a Team Ambassador and Logistics Lead for the event.
