ABOUT ERIK

Test engineer with a background in real-time and near real-time systems spanning defense, predictive analytics, and IoT. Most of my career has involved working close to the metal on systems where timing and data integrity actually matter — military training simulations, real-time security platforms, and building automation. Currently at Tridium, where I work on the Niagara platform doing device testing, automation with Robot Framework, and compliance. Before that, I spent years across DoD-adjacent contracts at places like BAE Systems, SENTEL, Tapestry Solutions, and Alion, building and testing software for logistics modeling, data communications, and sensor fusion. I have an MS and MBA from VCU and studied at Nanzan University in Nagoya, Japan. I\'m also working toward JLPT N2 and building VoiceShadow, a language learning app that uses voice shadowing techniques to help intermediate learners improve pronunciation and listening comprehension across most major languages.
