About Erik Saar
I am a management professional with extensive experience in defense contracting and software development leadership. I currently provide program management and portfolio management support for The Prospective Group (TPG) at the the Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA). I have also supported and led contracts at the Joint Staff at the Pentagon, the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), INSCOM, and the Joint IED Defeat Organization. With over 20 years of experience in the intelligence community and within the Department of Defense, I have led teams that provided technical and consultative solutions to clients at the most senior levels of government. I previously led a team of software developers building DCSA\'s NISS Cloud environment. Prior to my work at DCSA, I served as a Project Manager for a contract supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) where I led efforts to redesign and improve cybersecurity services within the organization. In other roles, I have served as a Program Manager and Knowledge Manager for the Office of the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon. While at the Pentagon, I supported the National Joint Operations and Intelligence Center (NJOIC) and led a team responsible to facilitate global situational awareness for the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. In addition, I previously led the creation of a Red Team for DoD’s Counter IED Operations Center (COIC) where we conducted analysis and drafted products regarding possible threat courses of action. I am a veteran of the U.S. Army where I served as an Arabic Linguist and Intelligence Analyst and held assignments with the FBI’s New York field office and the National Security Agency.
