About Erik Olson

With over twenty five years of experience in the manufacturing sector and 10 years of power plant operations, I am a director of operations at Eaton, a global leader in power management solutions. I oversee the operations of Eaton Crouse Hinds North America, a business unit that provides electrical products and services for harsh and hazardous environments. In this role, I lead a team of over employees across six plants, and I am responsible for driving operational excellence, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. I leverage my skills in manufacturing process improvement, process engineering, and root cause analysis to optimize production efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance performance. Prior to joining Eaton, I was a regional director of operations at Ball Corporation, where I managed the operations of four beverage packaging plants in the US and Canada. I also have a strong background in plant management, having led the operations of an Eaton plant in Illinois for three years. As well as factories and shops for General Electric. I have a BS in human resource management from New School University and an AS in nuclear engineering technology from Thomas Edison State College. I am passionate about leading and developing people, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and delivering innovative solutions to complex challenges. I am excited to be part of Eaton\'s mission to improve the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services.
