Build and cultivate working relationships through monthly meetings as the Grants Project Officer for three $20M Community Change Grants (City of Bakersfield, Contra Costa County & Leadership Counsel for Justice and Accountability) and three $1M Government to Government (G2G) Grants (San Joaquin Valley Air District, County of Stanislaus & City of San Jose) to assist with the initiation, administration, and close out process and provide technical assistance and guidance with grant deliverables. Collaborate with EPA Enforcement Division staff, state and local government officials and community partners in the Central Valley to review and address violation reports through a monthly inter-agency working group with the California Environmental Protection Agency. Serve as a liaison to internal and external partners to enhance community engagement and implement environmental justice principles and policies for environmental protection programs, specifically partnering with the Department of Toxic Substances Control to address contamination issues with the Kettleman City hazardous waste facility. Address the unique public and environmental health needs of children in the Pacific Southwest Region as the Children\'s Environmental Health Coordinator by participating in regional and national engagements to advance critical children\'s health issues with the Indoor Environments Division, Tribal Children’s Health Work Group and the Emergency Response and Children’s Health Work Group.Lead regional team building activities to establish inter-divisional relationships and collaboration.
