About Erik Lindquist
Since 1949, Dwight Rudd Insurance has been developing customized insurance programs for successful individuals and businesses. We are a Boston based, privately held, boutique insurance brokerage, that specializes in the unique risk management needs of affluent individuals and families. Our clients typically find us through their most trusted advisor. Most of our new clients have not had a proper insurance review in many years, if ever. The relationship that we have with our clients most often mirrors that of their other advisory relationships. While we work in a team environment, our clients\' primary point of contact is always with the principal level individual who provided the initial consult. This approach is not only in concert with our clients’ other advisory relationships, but is also a welcome break from the bulk of our industry that tends to favor a call center approach, or delegation, after the initial engagement. Our process is simple. In conjunction with our client’s advisory team, we ask questions to analyze susceptibly to loss, we evaluate whether the current insurance program properly mitigates the chance of loss, and we make recommendations to both improve coverage and, in many cases, reduce the overall cost of insurance. The end result is a well thought out personal insurance program that favors an allocation of insurance dollars away from coverage for protection against small losses, to coverage for protection against losses that could be truly catastrophic to an individual or family’s financial position.
