About Erik Hansen

Erik A Hansen, General Manager, is responsible for hotel team support for the Hampton Inn & Suites Boise – Downtown. He has developed a diverse leadership background in full service properties, limited service properties and restaurants, with over 28 years of hospitality experience. Mr. Hansen served with Red Lion Hotels in the early 1990’s for 5 years then the company was sold to Doubletree and eventually to Hilton. He worked for DoubleTree/Hilton another 8 years before joining Raymond Management in 2006 as General Manager of the Hampton Inn & Suites Boise-Downtown. Erik has worked his way up through the ranks in the hotel business serving as various department heads, Food and Beverage Director, Assistant General Manager and currently General Manager having opened the Hampton Inn & Suites in 2007. Erik is on the Ronald McDonald Board of Directors having served as President in 2010. He has served as a Board Member for the Treasure Valley Lodging Association and held a Board position at the Boise Convention and Visitors Bureau. Erik holds a B. B. A. from Boise State University in Business Economics. Erik\'s goals include continuous growth as a leader and to achieve the Light House Award again which we did in 2019.

Upon opening we have ranked in the top 10% of the Hampton Inn & Suites brand in Service, Cleanliness and Standards compliance.We are known for our exceptional service oriented Team that provides one of the best Hotel experiences in the Northwest.
