In my almost twenty years of working in higher education, I have learned that all institutions of higher learning face many challenges. My overarching professional goal is to help my home institution look to the future by integrating commitments to mission and students with both the ideal of academic conceptions and the pragmatism of results. Leadership: I am committed to serving as an educational leader, who guides an educational institution in its efforts to fulfill its mission, care for its students, promote academic excellence, and manage its vital resources. Growth Mindset: I am committed to helping my institution adopt and maintain a growth mindset. Vocation: I am committed to a Lutheran understanding of vocation, one that is consistent with the goals and best practices promoted in the CIC’s NetVUE project.
