About Erienne Bolsinger
Have you ever seen the YouTube video \"I work in fashion merchandising\"? If you haven\'t, please take 3 minutes and enjoy https://youtu.be/9lVD5TfXmAw?si=ego4a-k2PGgbbieB Nothing has ever so perfectly described my career than this video. I make things pretty but I get dirty. I have a flair. Visual merchandising is an elusive career, with very few truly understanding the skills it requires. We are artists and also scientists. We are body builders. We are interior designers. We love fashion. We are storytellers. We are the silent sellers. We are CRITICAL to the success of retail.\\\\ I have successfully lead the visual merchandising and styling execution for over 60 doors. I have lead these teams through floor plan development, product assortment consultation, visual merchandising and styling strategy, and served as the project manager for the function. I have done all of this both in person, as well as completely virtual, leaning on my ability to engage and connect with people to navigate the ambiguity.\\\\ I have on-boarded, trained, and developed over 70 visual leaders in the field, guiding many of them into their next elevated role. My consistent feedback over the years has been that I am a kind human, one who cares deeply for her team, and will go to the ends of the earth to support those she cares for.\\\\ My superpower: I am a mother. I cared for 3 under 3 during the global pandemic, while on maternity leave. If I can survive that, I can do anything. Becoming a mother has provided me with more growth and skillset diversification than any other job. Period. Need a calendar manager? Check. Need a multi-tasker? Check. Need a negotiator? Check. It has also shown me how to make the most of my time, set proper boundaries, and teach co-workers and leaders that having a parent on the team is a benefit, not a detraction.\\\\ I make things pretty. I analyze business data to tell stories to consumers. I curate product assortments to create an authentic consumer experience. I am a communicator. An artist. A scientist. And would love to help you tell your story.
