ABOUT ERIC HUANG
Having moved between countries 7 times I’ve observed that, unexpectedly, the only language we all speak is Math. Mathematics underpins the universe and our actions. Claims must be supported by reason and logic; assertions need to be backed by data and evidence. My training as a mathematician and computer scientist has provided me a way of thinking to understand and rigorously analyze the world. I am a problem solver with a background in math competitions and previous experiences working in ML, mobile app development, and databases. I am interested in cutting-edge solutions to difficult problems, particularly in the next generation of deep learning. I have a burning drive to make a meaningful impact and never dare to dream too big. Always eager to learn and never afraid to ask questions, I act on my ambitions to make them a reality by grasping the heart of problems to find the best antidote. I don’t know where I will be in ten years time but whether as a professor in pure math or a founder, I know I will be doing something that makes me proud of my work.
