Responsible for the Technical Leadership and Strategic Direction of Meta’s Mechanical Engineering discipline across a global fleet of Hyperscale Data Centers including operation and maintenance of the Mechanical Cooling infrastructure, Diesel Generator Program, Fire Life Safety, and Chem E water initiatives. • Leading multiple engineering initiatives to develop mass production scale Liquid Cooling technologies including Air Assisted Liquid Cooled (AALC) hybrid systems, Cooling Distribution Units (CDU) and Technical Water Loops in AI Zones, Modular CUPs, and Direct Evaporative Cooling (DEC) Systems. • Key ME Lead for the FacOps AI Delivery Team responsible for enabling operations and design teams to create priorities, requirements, processes, service models and SLAs to support liquid cooling in future Meta data centers. • Responsible for providing technical leadership and mentoring to the Facilities Engineering Mechanical team to design and execute retrofit initiatives, develop operational solutions, first-of-kind system reviews, and provide a point of escalation for complex engineering issues. • Responsible for multiple Root Cause Analysis studies to support and drive quality and process improvement initiatives. • Developed and implemented innovative and robust processes and standards to support the Facilities Engineering and data center teams. • Collaboratively develop and establish infrastructure standards, and asses the effectiveness of these solutions to meet Facility Operations’ operational needs through use of key performance indicators.
