Eric Wilson is a Director at Your Part-Time Controller, LLC (YPTC) and leads the firm\'s Dallas/Fort Worth office. In this role, Eric draws on his nonprofit accounting expertise and passion for the nonprofit sector to ensure a standard of excellence in client service and deliverables through training, developing, and empowering his team while expanding YPTC\'s presence in north Texas.Eric has shared his knowledge and expertise as a speaker in a wide variety of settings, including the AICPA\'s Governmental and Not-for-Profit Training Program, HUD’s National Fair Housing Training Academy, the Texas Society of CPAs’ Nonprofit Organizations Conference, the North Texas Nonprofit Institute, American Nonprofit Academy\'s The Nonprofit Show, the United Way of Greater Houston\'s Nonprofit Financial Series, Centerpoint\'s Power Tools for Nonprofits Conference, and YPTC\'s National Webinars.Eric is a licensed CPA and earned bachelor and master degrees in accounting from Texas Tech University. Prior to joining YPTC, Eric served as an Audit Supervisor at a Houston-based public accounting firm, primarily servicing nonprofit and governmental clients. His public accounting experience includes audits of financial statements, Federal grant compliance (Uniform Guidance/A-133), and other compliance frameworks.
