Responsible for coordinating and supporting production of Etaluma microscopes which leverages a broad knowledge of product development and instrumentation experience. For the last 10 years I have been focused on improving product quality, consistency and overall performance. • Coordinating manufacturing with engineering, software development, and sales.• QC/QA. Testing for mechanical, electronic, optoelectronic, and optical systems within the microscope. • BOM development. • Documentation of production processes, focusing on continuous improvement. Creating and improving calibration procedures to enhance the product over time. • Customization for OEM usage- working with customers and co-developing custom OEM solutions.• Support for units in the field.• Working with our vendors to ensure optimal product quality and consistency, as well as constant supply.(contract manufacturing, circuit board fabrication, lens fabrication, machinists, etc.) • Working with our consultants to provide new features and capabilities.• Software testing.• Finding new applications and designing experiments to demonstrate proof of concept.• Optimizing the lamps in our microscope- sourcing and testing LEDs, etc. • Optimizing the filters within the Lumascope to improve image quality and signal to noise.
