Trules is currently an Associate Professor of Practice at USC\'s School of Dramatic Arts, specializing in Solo Performance, Improvisation, Self Expression, & Creativity. He\'s been a faculty member since 1986 and twice a Fulbright Scholar & Senior Specialist in American Studies. Also: Allen Ginsberg Poetry Award winner, director-producer of \"The Poet and the Con\", a feature-length \"personal voice\" documentary film about his relationship with his criminal uncle,co- founder of MoMing, Chicago\'s renowned modern dance-theater company, and founder and director of the Cumeezi Bozo Ensemble, NYC\'s resident clown troupe.(He ran for mayor of New York City in 1977 against Ed Koch and finsihed 5th out of 4 candidates!) He curretnly blogs for the Huffington Post and the Cultural Weekly, and he recently did a TEDx Talk called \"The Train of Opportunity\".
