About Eric Trowbridge

Eric “ET” Trowbridge is the Director of Development & Enterprise Applications at Blue Federal Credit Union in Cheyenne, Wyoming, where he oversees the digital member experience and leads internal AI initiatives and automation strategy. He also partners closely with Blue’s People & Culture team to enhance the employee experience through technology, process innovation, and emerging tools.A Cheyenne native and Central High School graduate (Class of 2004), ET began his career studying art direction in San Francisco before working in creative roles within the film industry. He later spent over eight years in leadership at Apple, working across major markets including San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City, and Chicago.In 2014, ET returned to Wyoming to focus on technology entrepreneurship. He founded Array in 2016—Wyoming’s first accelerated private technology and design school—where, as CEO until 2021, he helped modernize career pathways and reshape the state’s tech education ecosystem.ET remains highly engaged in public service and workforce development. He was appointed by the Mayor of Cheyenne in 2018 to lead the city’s Broadband Task Force and by the Governor of Wyoming to the Wyoming Workforce Development Council, where he currently serves as Chairman. He also represents Wyoming on the National Governors Association, serving on its Artificial Intelligence Subcommittee to help guide national conversations on AI and the future of work.Locally, he serves on two Professional Advisory Committees at Laramie County Community College—Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science—helping align academic programs with real-world industry needs and emerging technology trends.

   I lead Blue’s digital development and enterprise applications function, overseeing designers, engineers, and platform teams responsible for delivering our online banking experiences, business applications, and system integrations.My role blends strategic leadership with hands-on technical expertise, helping architect and scale our digital platforms, AI initiatives, and automation strategy while ensuring secure, reliable, and member-first technology delivery. I’m deeply focused on elevating the digital member experience through intuitive design, performance, and innovation.I also partner closely with our People & Culture team to use technology, AI, and process improvement to enhance the employee experience, internal tools, and organizational culture.In addition, I help drive Blue’s Agile delivery model, team structure, and continuous improvement practices — ensuring our teams, tools, and processes are aligned with our long-term digital strategy and growth objectives.
