   Process owner for U.S. international tax calculations including Foreign Tax Credits (“FTCs”), Foreign Derived Intangible Income (“FDII”), and reporting over 150 foreign entities on the U.S. Form 1120. • Reviewed worldwide foreign provision, foreign deferred rollforward, tax account reconciliations, deferred proofs, and U.S. anticipatory FTC impact. Reviewed worldwide foreign provision, FIN48 schedule, and deferred rollforward.• Led the team through change as Expedia Group (“EG”) rightsized its Tax department. Rationalized the international compliance process from over 3,500 hours to under hours in support of the department’s efficiency goals. Streamlined provision processes for a faster close cycle. • Developed strategies and new processes in response to an evolving legislative environment, including new Treasury Regulations (FTC, FTR, §987, DCL/DPL), OECD Pillar Two, and federal legislation Helped to draft an industry comment letter on Treasury Regulations. • Coordinated with EG’s Accounting function to change significant processes, including stock-based compensation and intercompany transactions, for OECD Pillar Two readiness.• Modeled and supported a significant IP migration and restructuring effort. • Optimized EG’s FDII deduction and FTC utilization by improving calculation methodologies.• Maintained high quality and strong internal controls; no deficiencies or errors identified.• Successfully managed IRS audit cycles and financial statement auditors. • Coordinated a full-day internal CPE program for over 80+ participants.• Assisted with implementing a new Oracle Cloud ERP system.
